Individual

Chuck Marschinke integrates the same compassion in his approach today that he found on the path to recovery over forty years ago. Scared, confused, and hopeless, he turned to an individual who guided him through the critical early months of recovery. Forty years later, Chuck’s passion for assisting individuals and families through this difficult period into long-term recovery from drug and alcohol addiction continues.

Family

Acquiring knowledge and providing direction for families started for Chuck Marschinke on the day he entered treatment himself for chemical dependency at Abbott Northwestern Family Treatment Center in Minnesota. Later, he was accepted into The Johnson Institute in Minnesota whose focus was Intervention and family recovery. In 1989, Chuck entered Onsite in Sioux Falls, SD for the treatment of and recovery from codependency. Then, in 1990, Chuck became the Affected Family / Codependency Counselor at Parkside of Birmingham. He has a long history of personal and professional family recovery.

Employer

In 1994, Chuck began working in conjunction with employers and health professional case management/monitoring groups to assist employees and health-care professionals with the recovery process. These groups created a mechanism for client/patient accountability, which to this day has continued to provide invaluable assistance to individuals in the early CRITICAL phase of recovery from addiction. ACCOUNTABILITY after discharge from primary treatment through case management and monitoring is a proven tool for success. Marschinke & Associates provides this proven tool to individuals, families, and employers for greater success at long-term recovery.
